Developer and empower small businesses in our district

Small business growth and development has always been the economic core of our City, but too often we have been prioritizing large corporations over everyday entrepreneurs. As federal and state governments get more bogged down by partisan politics, cities have become a driver of economic growth and development, and I want to expand on that model.

Our City should prioritize providing financing to small businesses in District 6 through our Community and Economic Development Department. These small businesses often cannot get financing from major banks, which can have $2million minimum loans. We can’t build a great City without supporting great ideas and great businesses in our own neighborhoods, and that is the kind of smart, responsible economic growth we have needed for a long time.
